Support Worker Role

Our organization is seeking a Support Worker Multi Skilled to provide support to seniors and NDIS customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as domestic assistance, to enable them to live independently.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and community agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
Requirements:Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification and/or experience.
  • Experience working with seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with disability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Good written communication, computer & mobile device skills.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply).
  • Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions.
  • Reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle to travel to clients' homes and assist them to access the community.
  • Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and registration.
