Job Summary:

We are seeking a Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a Community Support Specialist, you will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional services to residents, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction maintained.

About the Role:

The Community Support Specialist will ensure a supportive environment where residents are encouraged to express food preferences and choice, while ensuring that food is nutritious and prepared in alignment with appropriate standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs of each resident, including special dietary requirements, allergies, and culturally specific instructions.
  • Maintain environmental service standards and ensure residents' living environment is safe and clean.
  • Ensure all duties are worked in accordance with the National Food Safety Program, including completing food safety records and preventing cross-contamination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads. You should also have a commitment to continuous quality improvement and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
