Culturally Sensitive Healthcare Professional

As a dedicated member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized and supportive care to women and families throughout their antenatal and postnatal journey. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive group who embody the CORE values of our service and are passionate about walking alongside families on their pregnancy journey.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating appointments with midwives and offering emotional support
  • Organizing community events such as NAIDOC Week celebrations
  • Participating in home visits with midwives to provide comprehensive care during the antenatal and postnatal period
  • Advocating for families and referring them to relevant health support services
  • Promoting health education through storytelling and visual aids

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holds or is working towards a Certificate III qualification in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related field
  • Has a valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required

About this Role:
