Job Title: Export Control Officer

This is a key role in our team that safeguards Australia's future. We have an opportunity for an Export Control Officer to work on CASG projects.

  • Deliver complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.
  • Facilitate Commonwealth and Industry access to advanced U.S. military communications technology under export control regulations.
  • Engage with industry counterparts to secure export control approvals and ensure compliance across Defence projects.
  • Prepare export control documentation including Third Party Retransfers and Technical Assistance Agreements.
  • Support auditing and record-keeping of export control agreements to maintain regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Commonwealth and Industry access to advanced U.S. military communications technology under export control regulations.
  • Engage with industry counterparts to secure export control approvals and ensure compliance across Defence projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external parties.
  • Experience managing project documentation, including plans, instructions, registers, and records.
  • Demonstrated initiative and autonomy in delivering outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of US export controls, ITAR, and experience with FMS and DCS processes highly regarded.
