Job Opportunity: Support Worker
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities, empowering them to live their best lives and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting to help individuals achieve their NDIS goals
- Assist with personal care needs of the people we support, promoting independence and dignity
- Support with meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Facilitate community connections through socializing and outings, enriching the lives of those we support
- A true people person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives
- Knowledge of NDIS and person-centred practice principles
- Experience supporting people with disabilities in a supported independent living accommodation service
