About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our National Financial Crime Team, which supports organisations with financial crime risk, compliance, and transformation.
This is a key opportunity for you to take a lead role in scoping, executing, and delivering financial crime advisory, review, and remediation projects. You will work closely with clients to develop proposals that meet their strategic objectives and deliver effective financial crime prevention and detection services.
You will be responsible for managing complex financial crime projects, providing expert advice to clients, and conducting detailed analysis of financial crime compliance policies, procedures, and data. You will also draft reports for senior management to help them understand and mitigate their financial crime risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial crime projects, including liaising with clients and junior resources
- Provide expert advice to clients on financial crime prevention and detection strategies
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial crime compliance policies, procedures, and data
- Draft reports for senior management on financial crime risks and mitigation strategies
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Minimum 4 years' experience in financial crime (AML/CTF or Sanctions) within a large professional consulting environment, financial institution, or regulatory/law enforcement agency
Excellent expertise and understanding of Australian AML/CTF or sanctions regulatory regime or industry best practice
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse financial information
Excellent written and oral communication skills to present findings for a variety of audiences
Proven capability to develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines tailored to client objectives
