About the Position

The front desk professional plays a vital role in providing support services to staff and onsite contractors. Working within an energetic team, you will be responsible for working collaboratively and independently across multiple sites.

As a front desk professional, you will have a passion for customer service and excellent communication skills. Your daily focus will be on providing telephone, face-to-face and onsite support to users regarding meeting room bookings and facility issues.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Scheduling meetings effectively, including setup and removal of catering for meetings/functions
  2. Transferring calls promptly and accurately/taking correct messages
  3. Performing tasks on opening and closing checklists for each shift
  4. Maintaining a clean, tidy and organized reception area
  5. Greeting visitors professionally and maintaining a corporate image at all times
  6. Communicating with all levels of staff and management
  7. Liaising with corporate clients, customers and members of the public
  8. Collaborating with the Head of Site on various ad hoc tasks and events
  9. Monitoring staff and guest use of visitor security passes daily
  10. Ordering supplies for kitchens weekly and stationary for meeting rooms
  11. Maintaining spare stock for meeting rooms, kitchen supplies and catering stock (tea/coffee and disposables)

Required Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and prioritize issues;
  • Strong customer service focus;
  • Confidence in navigating computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Google apps.
