About the Position
The front desk professional plays a vital role in providing support services to staff and onsite contractors. Working within an energetic team, you will be responsible for working collaboratively and independently across multiple sites.
As a front desk professional, you will have a passion for customer service and excellent communication skills. Your daily focus will be on providing telephone, face-to-face and onsite support to users regarding meeting room bookings and facility issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Scheduling meetings effectively, including setup and removal of catering for meetings/functions
- Transferring calls promptly and accurately/taking correct messages
- Performing tasks on opening and closing checklists for each shift
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organized reception area
- Greeting visitors professionally and maintaining a corporate image at all times
- Communicating with all levels of staff and management
- Liaising with corporate clients, customers and members of the public
- Collaborating with the Head of Site on various ad hoc tasks and events
- Monitoring staff and guest use of visitor security passes daily
- Ordering supplies for kitchens weekly and stationary for meeting rooms
- Maintaining spare stock for meeting rooms, kitchen supplies and catering stock (tea/coffee and disposables)
Required Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks;
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and prioritize issues;
- Strong customer service focus;
- Confidence in navigating computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Google apps.
