**The Role:**

As a Service Ambassador, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house café, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Warmly welcome and greet incoming customers while providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, including expertly crafted barista coffee, according to the highest standards.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for logging orders and processing payments efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable café area, including the front terrace and display cabinets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food and beverage handling procedures.
  • Replenish and stock fridges and cabinets with food and beverage supplies as needed.
  • Assist with café opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary.

**Your Qualifications:**

We are seeking an individual with:

- Proven experience in a hospitality or café environment with a strong focus on customer service.

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including advanced barista skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and presentation.

- Familiarity with operating a cash register and managing cash & eftpos transactions effectively.
