Job Title:

Education Program Director

Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive education program that promotes children's well-being, development, and learning.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for creating a high-quality educational experience that extends each child's learning and development.

  • Design and implement an educational program aligned with approved learning frameworks.
  • Lead educators in implementing best practices to enhance child learning outcomes.
  • Liaise with parents and internal/external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Mentor educators on reflective practice, intentional teaching strategies, and other pedagogical approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to education program management.
  • Collaborate with families and the broader school community to promote a culture of lifelong learning.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of approved learning frameworks and child development principles.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others in pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of leadership theory and various leadership styles.
  • Critical thinking skills, including analysis and challenge of conventional practice and ideas.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
