About this position:

The Reform Design and Delivery Lead oversees a team responsible for identifying, developing and implementing initiatives to transform healthcare systems. This role requires building strong relationships with stakeholders representing workforce, consumer and government perspectives.

This is an opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive lasting change in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will provide leadership to team members and coordinate advice on strategic policy issues.

  • Leadership - Demonstrates personal conviction, translates organisational strategy into meaningful plans and objectives, and motivates others to deliver against goals.
  • People Management - Aligns team with organisational values and goals, selects, develops, manages and motivates a high-performing team, clearly defines role expectations, monitors performance, provides timely feedback, and facilitates employee development.
  • Policy Skills - Formulates and communicates public policy options and recommendations, keeps up-to-date with contemporary issues, scans for links and potential implications of proposed policy options, and liaises with stakeholders.

A tertiary qualification in fields related to health, public policy, business and/or management, or health administration would be desirable. Significant knowledge and experience in government, health sector and/or health service delivery would be beneficial, with skills and experience in policy/project management and implementation.
