About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our Energy Solutions team at Shell Energy. As an Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in defining, building, and implementing a robust asset management solution for both Shell Energy and customer-owned flexible distributed energy resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on the operational performance of each asset, including financial results and HSSE requirements.
  • Financial Management: Assess asset portfolio financial performance relative to budgets and forecasts.
  • Risk Management: Assess operational improvements and risks, and develop and manage risk/asset management plans for assets.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Implement proactive and reactive maintenance regimes across assets, and manage O&M contractors and suppliers.
  • Compliance and Governance: Manage compliance of network and electrical systems designs, construction, and operational activities in accordance with legislation, codes of practice, and accredited standards.
Requirements
  • Advanced Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing complex projects and teams.
  • Asset Management Experience: Experience with asset management related tools and techniques.
  • HSSE and Risk Management: Experience with HSSE, risk management, and contract management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success in stakeholder management across a large organization.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with distributed energy resources and demand response, and an understanding of energy use and energy markets in Australia.
