Job Role Overview

Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as a Maintenance Associate.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly address and satisfy the needs and desires of hotel guests.
  • Welcome hotel guests warmly upon entry and bid them farewell upon departure.
  • Carry out various tasks listed in the hotel's maintenance checklist.
  • Respond to and execute requests from other departments or guests regarding defects, repairs, and general assistance.
  • Work on a rotating basis as the Shift Operator.
  • Record all defects and work performed.
  • Maintain personal appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards.
  • Foster adherence to the hotel's operational policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintenance within a similar setting.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
