About the Opportunity

  • As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions connected, and building community resilience. Every year, around one million customers visit our Australia Post Offices, and it's our retail teams who ensure every experience is positive.">
  • Our Retail Customer Service Representatives are supported by a welcoming team, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.">

Key Responsibilities:

">
  1. Perform customer sales and service transactions with customers.">
  2. Manage high-value transactions accurately, handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.">
  3. Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.">
  4. Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.">
  5. Assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs.">
  6. Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.">
  7. Assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.">

Requirements:

  • Be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a love for working in a team environment.">
  • Be ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.">
  • Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.">
  • Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.">
