Job Title: Environmental Scientist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our Geosciences team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will provide strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing site management plans and remediation action plans.
- Prepare and negotiate bids and fee proposals.
- Contribute to the initiation, planning, and delivery of complex contaminated land/waste projects.
- Work within budget and time constraints to ensure favorable financial results.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering/Hydrogeology or Geology.
- Experience in contaminated land.
- Working knowledge of the contaminated land provisions within QLD planning and environmental legislation.
- Developed report writing skills.
