We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner and Scheduler to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing schedules that ensure efficient and effective resource utilization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and monitoring work schedules using Prometheus/SAP
  • Determining and monitoring resource capacities to enable the development of detailed schedules for planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Preparing schedule documentation for all scheduled works
  • Analyzing metric data and organizational processes for potential efficiencies and improvements
  • Collaborating efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure organizational goals are realized
  • Ensuring System data is maintained in an accurate and consistent manner
  • Developing and Maintaining metrics reporting and performance indicators
  • Providing Technical and system information/training and support as required
  • Ensuring compliance with all environmental health and safety requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of planning and scheduling principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
