Job Title:

A Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering and asset management is required to support a major port infrastructure project in Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience improving production processes in Manufacturing, Ports & Rail, Resources and Energy Industries all around Australia. Your expertise in structural integrity management and remediation strategies will be invaluable in evaluating critical structural assets and developing long-term structural integrity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate structural integrity of critical assets
  • Develop long-term structural integrity strategies
  • Collaborate with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and safety regulations
  • Engage with stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long-term asset management objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.)
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies
  • Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment
