The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Food Technologist to join our Research and Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new products from concept to launch, working closely with commercial business leaders to translate consumer insights into quality product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop new products that meet quality, regulatory, financial, and launch targets, and are technically feasible in the supply chain network.
  2. Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to identify product and process cost savings opportunities.
  3. Develop and implement product specifications across the portfolio and ensure specifications are maintained.
  4. Proactively explore flavor and fruit trends and appropriate technologies to create innovative products.
  5. Participate in innovation workshops with key customers to bring flavor and concept innovation to them.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Food Technology or related Science and/or Engineering.
  2. Preferably 2 – 5 years' experience working in Food Technologist or QA roles.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organization skills.
  4. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Capable of working independently and staying organized while assuming multiple responsibilities and tasks.
