About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, managing costs and ensuring the successful delivery of the HumeLink West scope of works.

The position involves providing strong focus on cost trending and forecasting, establishing and monitoring project baseline budgets, producing regular end of month cost reports, maintaining risk registers to include change impacts, and monitoring and reporting on cost actuals vs budget.

You will be responsible for liaising with the PCM for compiling and submitting client progress claims.

This is a site delivery role requiring DIDO/FIFO or relocation where additional allowances will apply.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage costs effectively and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cost variations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience on major infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost management tools (excel, SAP, Power Bi, sharepoint, JDE).
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, coupled with the ability to work independently in a fast paced construction environment.
