Job Description

Catholic Education – Diocese of Wollongong offers a unique opportunity for an Education Specialist to support student growth and improvement in learning.

This is a temporary part-time position, commencing as soon as possible until 19 December 2025. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).

The role involves planning and implementing effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas, supporting students with diverse needs to ensure their full participation in learning, and implementing evidence-based teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
  • Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment.
  • NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
