Overview of Strategic Trading Solutions

Sig Susquehanna, a global quantitative trading firm, is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Systematic Trader to join our team. As a key member of our Trading, Technology, and Quantitative Research disciplines, you will contribute to making optimal decisions that drive winning results.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Quantitative Systematic Trader position combines quantitative research with trading expertise to develop new electronic strategies and monitor real-time performance. This role requires strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent logical reasoning, and exceptional communication skills. Experience writing code to process and analyze large data sets, especially in Python, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate ideas by immersing yourself in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • Develop new electronic strategies and monitor their real-time performance.
  • Work closely with technologists to implement and maintain trading systems.
  • Collaborate with other researchers, strategists, and traders to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas.

Requirements

  • PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Solid, analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in understanding others and making yourself clearly understood.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyze large data sets, especially in Python.
