Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Handyperson to enhance our maintenance team. This position is crucial for upholding the standards of our facilities, equipment, and furnishings throughout the hotel. Your role will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests, visitors, and staff alike.

The ideal candidate should be available for flexible shifts from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on the hotel's equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Promptly address maintenance tasks assigned by your supervisor.
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program, including basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC services and repairs.
  • Promote efficient use of energy and water resources.
  • Perform painting and other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Service general equipment and plant as directed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or similar environment.
  • A proactive attitude and dedication to maintaining a high-quality environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
