As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our winders. Our team is comprised of skilled individuals who are passionate about delivering complex mining projects in challenging environments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily routine work in accordance with legislations, regulations, policies, and guidelines. This includes managing and regulating the speed of the winder in a timely and even manner, as well as ensuring the safe transportation of personnel on the stage.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean cabin, ensuring that all equipment required by the shaft crew is ready and lowered in a timely manner, and disposing of waste in an environmentally approved manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily routine work according to legislations, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Manage and regulate the speed of the winder in a timely and even manner.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of personnel on the stage.
  • Maintain a clean cabin.
  • Ensure all equipment required by the shaft crew is ready and lowered in a timely manner.
  • Dispose of waste in an environmentally approved manner.

Requirements:

  • Must have Winder Driver Certificate or Competency equivalent.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Work Safely at Heights.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • White Card.
  • Pass pre-employment Medical.
