Job Title

This role provides operational support to a mining team at Mt Holland. You will work on short and medium planning horizons, including drill and blast designs, schedules, mine/infrastructure designs, and development projects. You will also assist in monitoring the mining contractor and reviewing plans.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a safe and inclusive health and safety culture.
  • Provide technical input to mine operations, including mine planning, design, drill and blast design, progress reporting, and contractor management.
  • Develop and communicate short-term plans, coordinate inputs, and roll out to the business and contractors.
  • Ensure plan compliance and report improvements.
  • Assist in completing quarterly and annual budget plans and site activity reporting.
  • Drive a safe mining operation philosophy and performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–5 years of experience in open pit, hard rock mining operations and mine planning.
  • Drill and blast experience, managing complex mining contracts.
  • Mine software skills, including Alastri production and Deswik software.
