Renewable Energy Site Manager

Pacific Energy, a leading provider of sustainable distributed energy in Australia, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for its Pacific Energy Connected (PEC) division.

The PEC division specializes in renewable power solutions and green hydrogen production facilities. With unmatched experience delivering end-to-end hydrogen ecosystems, the division is on a rapid growth trajectory.

The successful candidate will oversee site works, ensuring successful project delivery. They must possess a high level of mixed trade and project management skills, along with leadership abilities and knowledge of relevant regulations and safety protocols.

This role is ideal for individuals with gas infrastructure or power station construction knowledge, including interfaces between civil, mechanical, and electrical sections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide site leadership, prioritization, direction, and instruction for all power station construction processes
  • Generate site requirement look ahead and procure materials, plant, and equipment as needed
  • Manage completion of site documentation, including quality reporting, diaries, work breakdown, and incident reporting
  • Ensure teams evaluate hazards, control risks, and conduct regular inspections of works and equipment
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and quality assurance programs
  • Foster a workplace culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork

About You:

  • Substantial experience in power station construction with a relevant trade qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead site teams in delivering projects from $500K to $5 million
  • Strong leadership, people management, conflict resolution, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Excellent planning, project delivery requirements, time management, organizational skills, and results-oriented approach
  • Current Schedule 26 qualification or ability to obtain it upon starting the role

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
