Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver to deliver general freight to mine site locations in the southern Bowen Basin. The successful candidate will work Monday – Friday from 7am and participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Safely delivering mixed mining freight to customer mine sites
  • Operating forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
  • Securing freight loads using dogs, chains, straps & binders
  • Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A commitment to safety in everything they do
  • Forklift license essential
  • MC license preferred but HC considered with view to upgrade
  • A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
  • Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
  • Good customer service and communication skills
