In this role, you will provide specialist mental health assessment, treatment, and support for young people and their families involved with the Youth Justice system. You will work closely with our team to provide education, community development, and networking services.
This role requires high-level skills in assessment, treatment, and care-coordination of young people with mental health difficulties. You will also need to have well-developed skills in education, training, consultation, and liaison.
What we need from you
- Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for registration with the relevant professional registering body
- Minimum seven years' experience working in the field of mental health
- Extensive experience providing mental health, forensic, and alcohol and other drug assessment and intervention in partnership with young people and families
- Australian working rights
- Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccinations
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
