About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Workforce Manager to join our team in Brisbane on a full-time basis.

This pivotal leadership role will oversee the planning, recruitment, allocation, and rostering of junior medical workforce, ensuring operational efficiency and staff wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Medical Workforce team
  • Manage the recruitment, rostering, and leave planning of prevocational Medical Officers
  • Provide expert advice on workforce issues, ensuring compliance with best practice standards
  • Foster initiatives that improve staff engagement and wellbeing

About You:

You are a confident and collaborative leader with a strong background in medical workforce management. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in medical workforce management
  • Demonstrated experience in junior doctor workforce planning, recruitment, and rostering
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build capability, foster collaboration, and create a positive team culture
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Effective organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to analyse data and provide insights
