Job Description

As a seasoned investigator, you will conduct professional interviews, analyze and assess evidence, identify discrepancies, and prepare clear, concise reports based on the evidence obtained.

  • Conduct face-to-face, phone, or video interviews to gather information
  • Assess evidence to determine lines of inquiry and pursue clarification

You will work independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in factual investigations in insurance (e.g. CTP, Workers Comp, General Insurance)
  • TAC experience is highly regarded
  • Current Victorian Private Investigator licence (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and report-writing skills
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, liability principles, and investigative techniques
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • A current driver's licence, reliable transport, and a satisfactory criminal history
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and online investigation tools
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
