About the Role
The APS 6 ILS and Inventory Manager is a key position within the Army Marine discipline, responsible for integrated logistics and through life support for all Army Marine products. This role operates as part of a small team with limited guidance, undertaking sustainment tasks, activities or functions while exercising judgement in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with stakeholders on complex issues, identifying and responding to their needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
- Exercise delegations and provide strategic advice/direction for all Army Marine products.
- Support the delivery of a continuous sustainment environment to the Army's fleet of watercraft, including inventory support for marine products and assets.
About Our Team
Army Marine operates within the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group, as part of the Maritime Sustainment Division, within the Specialist Systems Branch. MVSPO supports Defence's Hydrographic and Army Marine capabilities, evolving into the Maritime Sustainment Model (MSM).
Our Ideal Candidate
We seek a highly skilled individual with the ability to provide sustainment and inventory management capability to the Army's fleet of watercraft. The ideal candidate will have the qualifications, competency and ability to provide inventory support to marine products and assets within the CA42 product schedule, as well as ILS advice and mentoring to Army Marine personnel.
What We Offer
A competitive salary range of $91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation, based in Cairns, QLD. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the success of the Army Marine discipline.
