Occupational Therapy Leadership Position

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role in our Allied Health team. As Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing best practice occupational therapy services and leading a team of professionals.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, with various locations available. The salary range for this role is $111,529.71 - $121,307.82 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality services.
- Clinical Services: Provide evidence-informed occupational therapy services to clients, ensuring best practice outcomes.
- Operational Priorities: Assist the Professional Lead in setting operational priorities for the Allied Health team, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Caseload Management: Coordinate the allocation of therapy staff to clients, ensuring efficient caseload management and minimizing wait times.
- Reflective Practice: Promote reflective practice within the team, encouraging staff to reflect on their practice and identify areas for improvement.
- Human Rights Focus: Ensure that all services are delivered within a human rights framework, prioritizing the needs and rights of clients.
Requirements
- Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, with registration as an OT in Australia.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience in occupational therapy, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
