We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service.
The SEWB team provides comprehensive support to clients, embedding three streams of care: medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support with intensive case management as required.
The successful candidate will provide psychosocial supports aimed at restoring socio-economic and cultural functioning to clients referred to Congress' Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based Social Work methodologies, including screening and assessments, case management, advocacy, outreach, supportive counselling, and group work.
- Facilitate access to community services, such as employment and other social opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and community members to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Provide cultural support and advocacy to ensure clients' needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote social and emotional wellbeing.
