Procurement & Transaction Management Specialist - Infrastructure Advisory

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Transaction Management Specialist to join our Infrastructure Advisory team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining high-quality relationships with our clients, leading consulting/advisory assignments, and providing expert contract management skills to support their projects.
Key Responsibilities- Developing Robust Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement contemporary procurement strategies for our clients' major projects and programs, ensuring successful project outcomes and reducing delivery risks.
- Transaction Management: Lead the procurement process for major capital projects, setting up projects and programs for success.
- Contract Management: Provide expert contract management skills to support clients' projects, from initial contract setup through to managing variations and claims.
- Building Networks and Relationships: Proactively build networks with other team members and key clients, becoming a trusted advisor on matters relating to procurement and contract management for capital projects.
- Business Development and Practice Development: Contribute to Turner & Townsend's vision and mission by developing proposals to address client challenges, creating innovative new service offerings, and prudent management of financial performance.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead integrated advisory teams, taking ownership of commissions from start to finish, and directing and coaching consulting staff.
- Cultural Fit: You will be a self-starter, comfortable in turning ambiguous requirements and challenges into well-orchestrated solutions, and proactive in seeking support from the team.
- Professional Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications in procurement, project management, and contract management, such as CIPS, RICS, AIPM, or other leading industry bodies.
- Experience and Background: Senior project management, quantity surveyor, commercial/contract management, or procurement experience on large capital programs and/or projects, preferably in sectors such as property construction and/or infrastructure construction.
- Advisory and Consulting Experience: Experience in working in an advisory role providing consulting services to organizations, although not essential, will be highly regarded.
