Role Overview:

As a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery, you will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using cutting-edge technology.

You will be responsible for providing real-time technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff, collaborating with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes, and maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across regions to support multiple hospital sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. You may come from fields such as:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support.
  • Biomedical science/engineering.
  • Medical device experience.
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience.
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure.
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
