We are seeking experienced horticulturalists and greenkeepers to lead maintenance teams in the creation of high-quality parks and open spaces.

This position involves overseeing team operations, assigning tasks, planning works, establishing goals, encouraging open communication and distributing information amongst the team.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires previous experience in leading teams, particularly in the maintenance of parks and open spaces. As the leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards, and mentoring staff within the team.

Key responsibilities include carrying out horticultural activities to maintain the city's parks, making decisions on work practices in line with industry best practices, undertaking park embellishment works, and adapting to changing priorities as needed.

  • Certificate III qualification in Horticulture relevant to the position or area of specialisation (arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, nursery, sports turf management).
  • Current NSW MR Driver's Licence.
  • White Card.
Benefits

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 6am-3pm. We offer an attractive remuneration package from $78,199 to $86,118 plus superannuation.
