Job Title:

Airline Simulator Instructor

Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Airline Simulator Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1000 hours pilot-in-command (PIC) on a multi-crew jet transport and hold a valid Simulator Instructor Rating or equivalent rating/certification.

You will also possess previous experience as a simulator instructor/type rating instructor and have knowledge and experience of AQP/EBT/CBTA/IEC. In addition, you should have a valid ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with minimum ICAO English level 5 and knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing civil aviation training.

In this role, you will be required to work outside office hours to conduct FSTD training or other assigned duties. You must be able to work effectively in a remote environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting training duties in accordance with the Training and Procedures Manual requirements for Instructors.
  • FOLLOWING applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • RECOMMENDING revisions to SOPs where appropriate.
  • ASSISTING with the preparation of courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, to comply with CASA requirements.
  • MONITORING the progress of clients/students and developing action plans as required.
  • PROMOTING and supporting improvements and enhancements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials utilized by the ATO.
  • Participating in Progress, Academic & Disciplinary Review Boards and providing recommendations for remedial action concerning progress issues in training or trainee disciplinary issues.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Lead Instructor or HOT.
Working Conditions:
  • Work environments: Office, classrooms, and FSTD's.
  • Required to work outside office hours to conduct FSTD training or any other assigned duties.
  • Rosters for training duties shall be planned in accordance with the Training and Procedures Manual requirements for Instructors.
