Job Title: Senior Security Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Technician to join our Service Team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the servicing of existing Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Duress systems. This role will also involve Quoting and running Small/Medium Fitouts/Upgrades on your maintenance database clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fault-find security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on existing sites to prevent system downtime.
  • Install and commission small to medium commercial projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Quote and manage faults found on maintenance clients, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Liaise with subcontractors during project commissioning to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assist the commercial projects team with new and existing works, providing expert security and IT integration advice.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • Australian residency and valid NSW Driving licence, Cable licence, Security licence, and Building Industry Induction card.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar role, with strong systems, network, and PC-related skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
