About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to cover NSW South and the ACT region on a 12-month parental leave contract. This part-time position requires a minimum of three days per week.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored sales and marketing strategies for key accounts in NSW South and the ACT, strengthening relationships with key accounts through regular contact and support, and providing comprehensive training to agents via weekly sessions, presentations, and e-commerce strategies.

You will also be responsible for ensuring effective use and placement of marketing materials in key account agencies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities, and maintaining accurate sales records and CRM entries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing Plans: Develop and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies for key accounts in NSW South and the ACT.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication and support.
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to agents via regular sessions, presentations, and e-commerce strategies.
  • Marketing Collateral Management: Ensure effective use and placement of marketing materials in key account agencies.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Industry and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and CRM entries.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in sales management and account management, with a strong understanding of the travel industry and its distribution channels. You will also need excellent organisational and time management skills, proficiency in CRM software, and the ability to analyse market trends and provide strategic feedback.

A confident presenter with excellent presentation skills is essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key accounts. Experience in the travel industry is highly desirable, but not essential.
