Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Professional Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the Unit Manager in ensuring a safe and positive client experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting set clinical quality standards
  • Manage the client experience to ensure optimal satisfaction
  • Ensure effective management of staffing resources, including recruitment, retention, and utilisation
  • Develop and implement strategies to empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development
  • Contribute to the effective management of operational expenses

Requirements:

  • Professional Nurse qualification with a postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if managing a specialist unit
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Professional Nurse in a hospital setting
  • 1 year of mentor experience

  • Pharmacology
  • Nursing record keeping
  • Nursing processes and procedures
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Relevant nursing legislation
