Support Life Skills Specialist

This role is a part-time opportunity with a minimum of 15 hours per week, where you will be supporting individuals with disabilities in their homes across Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

  • Provide daily life activities and support for community involvement such as attending appointments and shopping
  • Assist with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Aiding with daily life activities and support for community involvement such as attending a doctor's appointment and shopping
  • Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavors
Requirements:
  • Experience or qualifications in disability or aged care
  • Good and effective English communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, reports, and case notes through a mobile phone
  • Familiarity with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Disability Service Standards, and NDIS
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Workers Check
  • NSW Driver's license and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role
