We are seeking individuals with a commitment to providing high-quality support and promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable youth in foster care.

The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment, while promoting cultural awareness and understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise children and young people in foster care
  • Ensure safety and well-being of residents through effective supervision and support
  • Engage positively with all children and young people, promoting their best interests and well-being
  • Contribute to daily routines and schedules within the home, including maintaining a healthy and well-kept living environment
Personal Attributes
  • Compassionate and empathetic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Respectful and able to build strong relationships with children, families, and community members
  • Self-aware and reflective with good internal resilience and self-care practices
  • Positive and energetic with a sense of humour

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, and understand the importance of connection, collaboration, and participation within Aboriginal communities.
