Field Service Technician (Power Generation)

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician specializing in Power Generation to provide exceptional service to our industrial clients. This role involves commissioning, maintaining, and repairing power generation systems, with potential travel required based on client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on power generation equipment according to established schedules and standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on generators from various manufacturers.
- Install and commission new generator sets, transfer switches, and Digital Master Controllers (DMC).
- Maintain and repair switchgear and battery systems.
Qualifications:
- Current QLD electrical trade qualification.
- Full unrestricted A Grade Electrical license in QLD.
- Experience in a field service role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of internal combustion engines.
- Ability to conduct detailed fault finding on complex control systems with precision and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable but not mandatory:
- Understanding of high voltage systems and operations.
- Familiarity with Cummins PCC control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and PLCs.
