Monitoring and Evaluation Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Framework and Plan.
- The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing contextually appropriate MERL frameworks and plans.
- They will also possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage small teams and cultivate supportive team cultures.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in humanitarian logistics.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of the MERL system, ensuring robust data and evidence drive program performance and impact.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering inclusive data collection approaches, particularly for "last mile" distributions.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with research partners and program stakeholders.
- Ensuring integration of GEDSI, Greening, Localisation, Innovation, Partnerships, and Indigenous Engagement themes across all reporting.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in MERL, including developing and implementing frameworks and plans.
- Excellent leadership skills, including team management and culture development.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of DFAT's Design and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Standards.
