Our company is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at our Melbourne, FL facility.

This role involves performing Quality Control Inspections and Level II examinations in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current, and Penetrant Methods in accordance with NAS 410. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance and alterations meet quality and airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness
  • Performing Quality Control Inspections and Level II examinations
  • Verifying technical data approved by the FAA
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations

Requirements for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of NDT technical courses or documented Military experience in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current, or Penetrant methods
  • FAA A&P Certificate or FAA Repairman Certificate under FAR Part 65
  • At least three (3) years' experience in NDT Inspections and Evaluations

Additional requirements include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vision test with minimum 20/20 corrected vision
  • Supporting documentation of previous work experience and certification as per the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)
