Wellington Park Private Care seeks to appoint an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and leadership to our residents.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients according to accepted nursing practice and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the needs of residents and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care and coordinate the care of residents with other health professionals
- Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current Practicing Registration with AHPRA
- Aged care experience
- Minimum 12 months experience as an RN preferred
- Dementia qualifications and experience highly regarded
