We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage our payroll function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll, including employee remuneration, entitlements, deductions, and superannuation.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, leave balances, and shift rosters.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll reports and data in line with awards, policies, and agreements.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll, leave entitlements, and employment matters.
  • Support payroll-related system queries, statistical reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Document payroll processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems.
  • Conduct peer verification checks and support internal auditing processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in payroll management within a medium-large or complex organisation.
  • Strong skills in documenting workflows and business processes.
  • Experience supporting or implementing new payroll systems is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation, awards, and agreements.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion with sensitive data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
