About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Batching/Mixing team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. Our client, a family-owned Australian company, values diversity and inclusivity in their workplace.

The successful candidate will oversee production processes, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently. If you have leadership experience and a background in food manufacturing, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with team members to coordinate material needs
  • Lead, coach, and train shift employees in their development
  • Operate ovens in a hot environment, managing effective production and packaging of products
  • Mix raw ingredients into set batches according to recipes
  • Ensure plant and equipment run smoothly and efficiently
  • Handle and transport ingredients safely
  • Perform various production tasks, including packaging goods to a high standard
  • Complete administrative tasks such as filling out forms and entering data into the system
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing environments is essential
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • A good understanding of food safety principles
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, constantly changing environments
  • Clear communication skills to provide instructions to team members
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to complete forms and add data into the system
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15kg and work in a hot environment
Benefits:

Salary Estimate:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
