About the Role: 

As a Team Leader for the Batching/Mixing team you will be required lead the team to produce high quality products by mixing a variety of raw ingredients in accordance with corresponding recipe. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes. If you have experience in food manufacturing and leadership/ team management experience and are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is perfect for you


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with team members on materials needed for the day
  • Leading, coaching and training in the development of shift employees
  • Handle and operate ovens in a hot environment, ensuring effective production and packaging of products.
  • Mixing raw ingredients into set batches
  • Ensure plant and equipment run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handling and transportation of ingredients
  • Perform various production tasks as required, including packaging goods in a high-quality manner.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as filling out forms and entering data into the system.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Previous experience leadership/ team management
  • A good understanding of food safety
  • Ability to work in a constant, fast paced environment
  • The ability to provide clear orders and instructions to team members
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to complete forms and add data into the system.
  • Ability to lift up-to 15kg and work in a hot environment.
