Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team at Conexson, a leading specialist Disability & Aged Care staffing agency.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support individuals with disabilities to participate in community activities and events
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
  • Blue Card preferred
  • Certificate 3 in Disability Support or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Driver's license and reliable transport
  • Fully COVID vaccinated as per QLD Health Regulations
  • Flu Vaccination
  • Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Cert., etc.)
  • Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience
What We Offer:
  • 20 to 40 hours per week
  • Weekly salary ranging from $800 to $2,000
  • Weekdays - $30 per hour
  • Saturdays - $40.41 per hour
  • Sundays - $51.95 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $63.50 per hour
