Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

We're looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. If you have experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS, we want to hear from you.
About the Role- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviour.
- Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) that promote independence and reduce restrictive practices.
- Provide consultation and training to support teams in delivering person-centred supports.
- Collect and analyse behavioural data to inform BSPs and ensure compliance with NDIS reporting requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals who require Positive Behaviour Support.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
