This is a dynamic role for a highly skilled Service Support Engineer who will provide remote and onsite technical support to customers in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate has experience in irrigation engineering, IT technical support, irrigation design concepts, and practices.
The role involves providing remote technical support to internal and external customers, distributors, and field personnel. Configuration of hardware for irrigation applications is also a key responsibility.
In addition to technical support, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting onsite, remote, and classroom training, as well as travel to meet service requirements at specific customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to internal and external customers, distributors, and field personnel;
- Configuration of hardware for irrigation applications;
- Conduct onsite, remote, and classroom training; travel as necessary;
- Log, track, and follow up on product and technical issues;
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Agronomy, or equivalent;
- 5+ years of relevant experience and technical support experience;
- Experience in AutoCAD design; strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills;
- Knowledge of electronics and information systems; excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time;
- Proficiency in English and Japanese or Korean;
